ahimsa counseling services

We offer Buddhist clinical psychotherapy for people who know they want to heal from chronic conditions. We are clinically trained to help those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship issues, chronic confusion, life transitions, grief, spiritual emptiness, some of the above, all of the above and many other related mental health issues.

We also offer Buddhist clinical psychotherapy for people who just want to experience life in a new and better way.  We also work with people who don't believe they have a diagnosable condition, but do know they are deeply unsatisfied and want to create a more meaningful life.

What is ahimsa?

Pronounced \uh-HIM-sah\, ahimsa is a sanskrit word for non-violence, also known as ‘ultimate kindness’.  We offer psychotherapy services that intend to increase  kindness in every area of your life, especially towards yourself.

Welcome.  If you are visiting us for the first time, we acknowledge the journey you have taken to get this far.   Psychotherapy is not usually listed under ‘good times.’ If you were experiencing  a lot of good times, we know you wouldn’t even be here.

But this is actually good news.  Learning to work with your pain and discomfort can become your best teacher.  We provide services that will help you transform your discomfort into something more useful and interesting.
